Yesterday, the ODA proudly launched its new website – www.oda.ca. This is the culmination of a few years of work and brings the ODA website in line with modern websites and technology. We, along with our vendor, have designed a site that is easy-to-use, mobile-friendly, searchable and transparent. With the new site, we’ve also combined our public and member sites into one site.
Here are the new features we think you’ll enjoy:
An improved Job & Ad Board
Our improved Job & Ad Board will allow you to easily post ads to buy and sell a practice, hire a locum or associate and, for the first time, recruit dental staff – dental hygienists, dental assistants and office staff – directly from our website. The Job & Ad Board is open to the public, but only ODA members may post to it. Spend less time looking for qualified people and more time with your patients.
Managing your member profile
You can manage your ODA profile information including practice and home address(es), phone numbers and email addresses. You can also change what emails you receive from the ODA and monitor the ads you post on the Job & Ad Board. You can log in to your profile by clicking on Member Login on the top right corner of the home page.
Better events listings
Connecting with colleagues and continuing your education is an essential part of growing your practice. The redesigned Events listing allows you to search by type, region or component society making it easier than ever to find professional growth opportunities.
As with all new technology, you may experience some technical issues. If you are having issues with the site please delete your browser cache and then refresh your page. If you are experiencing issues logging in to your member profile, please try using the "Forgot password" function and see if that solves it. Make sure to check your junk mail folder for the password reset email.
