Brampton Family Dental located in Brampton, ON have an excellent opportunity to add a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to our team.
The ideal Registered Dental Hygienist for our team will be highly motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, as well as empower them in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients’ needs. We believe that the best care we can offer is preventative, cooperative, and consistent.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning
- Complete a thorough assessment of the patient’s teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
- Customize care to meet patient’s oral health
- Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques
- Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards

Schedule:
36 hours per week
4 Days of the week
What we are looking for:
- Currently registered or in process of registering with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- New graduates welcome!
- Current CPR Certification
- 1-2 years of experience is an asset
- Experience with dental practice management software such as Tracker is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Customer service mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care
- Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices
