The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking to recruit a part-time Dentist to join the CAMH Dental Office. In addition, this individual will also fulfill the Dental Education Coordinator role.
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world’s leading research centres in its field. CAMH is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and is a Pan America Health Organization/World Health Organization Collaborating Centre. With a dedicated staff of more than 4,000 physicians, clinicians, researchers, educators and support staff, CAMH offers outstanding clinical care to more than 37,000 patients each year and over 118 inpatient and outpatient clinical programs. The organization conducts ground-breaking research through its 11 research centres and provides expert training to over 13,000 health care professionals and scientists. In addition, CAMH delivers education programs to over 40,000 healthcare professionals each year and advocates on public policy issues at all levels of government.
Qualifications
The successful applicant must hold a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent and be a member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. The position requires an individual who has 1 or more years of experience (preferably) but not a requirement. This individual must also has strong interpersonal and communication skills and prior experience in a hospital setting is an asset.
