Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate associate dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and fostering a positive patient experience. As an associate dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with a team of dental professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
- Utilize software for patient management, treatment documentation, and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients as needed.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in using dental software; familiarity with CAD systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred; experience with pediatrics is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining high ethical standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
